Contact me to arrange a meeting, ask me questions regarding my birth philosophies, my role as a birth doula, and get to know me to see if I am the right fit for your birth team.

Phone and Email Support

Once my services have been formally requested, I will be available by phone or email (harmonytreebirthdoula@gmail.com) anytime. My cell number will be given to you upon hiring.

Prenatal Visits

We will have a minimum of two prenatal visits, during which we will meet together to discuss what is important to you regarding your birth plan, and to ensure you have the confidence to birth the way you wish. We will also discuss and work on positioning, comfort measures, emotional support and much more. 

During Labor

I prefer that you call me when you think you are in labor, even if you do not yet need me. Once I have been contacted you will have my continuous emotional, physical and informational support throughout your labor and birth. I will be there to protect and advocate for you and your partner to ensure that your birth wishes are met.

In Birth

As your doula it is not my role to influence your birth outcome by projecting my experiences and personal beliefs onto you. This is your story to tell. I am NOT a medical professional, so I will NOT perform clinical tasks nor give medical advice. My role however is to support your emotional, informational and comfort needs. I will be your advocate by finding answers to your questions and help give you the information you need to make informed decisions. After the delivery I will usually remain with you for one or two hours until you are comfortable. I can also help with initial breastfeeding, if necessary. 

Postpartum Follow up Visit

We will have two postpartum visits. The first will occur the day after delivery and we will meet for our closing visit a week to ten days after delivery. I am available to answer any question you might have in the postpartum time.
